![]() Once you have finished your playthrough, go to stage select and ensure that you have all stars. ![]() Simply play through each story normally on Beginner difficulty, and try to get the stars in each stage (see this guide for details, though feel free to skip the harder ones). Step 3: Finish all story modes (historical and hypothetical) You should also aim to get the following trophies while doing this: This should get you the following trophies: If you play in groups of 3, then the third time this happens your bond will be maxed. They will call you aside when you return to camp after 3 battles, and their bond will strengthen. Once you have other famous officers, set them as your bodyguard. Make sure to defeat all famous officers at this stage. Every 3 battles will be a duel, where you can defeat famous officers (and then play as them, along with getting a camp symbol). Do this every time you return to town, and only pay the minimum (lower percentage increase, and you get the same amount of materials). This lets you send troops to look for weapon materials. Get your barracks to level 10 as soon as you can (this takes 13 facility materials). He has a 1:2 trade ratio when he's below level 50. Trade your weapon materials for facility materials at the Merchant when you get him. Break all pots and boxes that you see, and kill all the officers (leaving the target officer until last). Only play skirmish maps (with green text saying materials). Your goal is to get your blacksmith to level 50, which will require 288 facility materials. Pick an officer that you like (I would recommend Guan Yu or Cao Cao for skill grinding later). You will want to start off by playing Ambition Mode. Step 2: Get a Level 50 Blacksmith in Ambition Mode Finishing the tutorials will nab you the following trophies: ![]() You can also try to get a chain of over 1000 during your True Rage attack, but this isn't necessary. There is an identical tutorial available for each of the kingdoms, so complete each of them. If you upgrade your merchant before everything else, you'll just increase the time you have to grind for. This is because you have a 1:2 trade ratio for weapon materials to facility materials. Note: Keep your Merchant below level 50 in Ambition mode until you have all other facilities at level 50. The majority of trophies are actually somewhat enjoyable to get (assuming you enjoy the gameplay). You can probably get 70%+ in ~30 hours, but there are a couple of extremely painful trophies which will require hours upon hours of repetitive grinding. ![]() People who are accustomed to the series shouldn't be too surprised to learn that there's a massive amount of grinding required to platinum the game. Unfortunately, this is a double edged blade for trophy enthusiasts. It also includes a host of new characters (such as Han Dang and Lu Su), while not removing any of the old ones (making the roster over 80 characters large). On top of this, it includes both Free Mode and the new Ambition Mode. It also has 8 "other" scenarios that can be unlocked. This entry has the 4 main story lines - Wei, Wu, Shu and Jin. It is also probably one of my favourite entries, and feels a lot better than the previous couple of main Dynasty Warriors titles. It's a 3rd person action game developed by Omega Force and based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms novel by Luo Guanzhong. Does difficulty affect trophies?: Yes (see Master of Chaos)ĭynasty Warriors 8 is the latest installment in the Dynasty Warriors series.Minimum number of playthroughs: 4 stories plus branching hypothetical routes, Chaos difficulty, Ambition mode, Other scenarios, and multiple replays of stages.Approximate amount of time to platinum: 80-100+ Hours.
